Stephan is a software engineer who understands how artificial intelligence works from first principles and builds production systems that hold up at scale. He brings over a decade of experience turning AI research into real-world applications-fast, cost-effective, and reliable.
At Google, Stephan was a founding engineer of Google Assistant and Google Lens (1B+ users). He built production AI infrastructure, custom ML pipelines, and retrieval systems-from multi-modal neural networks processing billions of images and queries to specialised statistical models, depending on what works best.
As CTO, he scaled a 100-person engineering organisation and helped drive 50M+ client profit through insurance pricing optimisation and data-driven claims algorithms. As an advisor, he helped establish the technical foundations for Jua.ai (climate tech) and Cradle.bio (synthetic biology), including strategy, de-risking, and hiring key technical talent; both companies are operating successfully and have raised 130M+.

Tanya is UX and design leader with 20+ years of experience designing AI-powered, multimodal global products used at massive scale.
At Google, she led UX for Google Assistant (B2C) across Pixel and Android (including Pixel Fold) and was accountable for core features shipped with Pixel 6/7/8. She led and grew a global, interdisciplinary UX organisation across the US, Europe, and India, partnering closely with Product and Engineering leadership to set direction.
As Design Manager for Google Flights (B2C, including Explore and Holiday Packages), Tanya led a major redesign and feature releases that improved the travel planning and booking experience, supporting billions in annual airline revenue globally. Earlier at Google, she contributed to the evolution of Google AdWords (B2B) by leading UX initiatives that improved usability for millions of advertisers and supported significant revenue impact.
Before Google, Tanya spent over a decade in web agencies, owning UX from concept to delivery across client projects.
